The story of Poli and Max’s wedding started far away from the English coast and the beautiful Isle of Wight.

In fact, they met on another gorgeous island, Crimea, which is in Ukraine. Soon after hey had to flee their home country and magically they gravitated to a place, which reminds them of home.

For the reception they chose a modern all-glass restaurant within a spa hotel by a tranquil lake. The celebration takes place in a spacious, all-white room that exudes elegance and minimalism. One entire wall of the room is made of glass, offering an unobstructed view of the serene lake outside. The natural light streams in through the glass wall, bathing the room in a soft, luminous glow that enhances the pristine white decor. The high ceilings and clean lines of the room create an airy, open feel.

The views of the shimmering water and rolling countryside create a perfect backdrop for this elegant yet minimalist celebration.

Inside, the decor remains predominantly white, maintaining elegant simplicity of the event. The tables are set with crisp white linen. What is more, stylish floral arrangements complement the room’s minimalist aesthetic. Each setting is accompanied with a delicate custom-made biscuit, featuring the bride and groom’s names.

Although Poli and Max are quite new to the Island, they have made warm and deep connections with wonderful people living here. Each guest had touched the couple’s lives in a special way. Since not many of the bride and groom’s family members managed to join the Isle of Wight wedding celebration, new friends created a wonderful atmosphere.

It was not a conventional Isle of Wight wedding. Instead, it was a fusion of English and Ukrainian wedding traditions. There was lots of laughter, a fun quiz, run by the couple, and simply brilliant weather!

Evening reception

After that the couple headed for the evening party, where many more of their friends and colleagues joined in the celebrations. It was a costume party with a theme based on the movie The Fifth Element.
